Duration Friction Hinges

Available in top and side hung variants, our Duration Friction Hinges come in a choice of sizes to suit the majority of frame widths. The friction hinges are available in both Ferritic 430 Stainless Steel and Austentic 304 Stainless Steel, ensuring a long-life cycle, as well as a smooth operation of the window.

  • Suitable for PVC-U, aluminium and timber windows.
  • Excellent weather sealing and draught proofing capabilities.
  • Encapsulated end cap for improved compression of gaskets.
  • Available in both top and side hung variants.
  • Geometries designed and tested to self-balance open out casement windows.
  • Available in 13mm and 17mm stack heights, with colour-coded end caps and outer packaging to clearly identify and differentiate each option. This enables quick visual recognition and reduces the risk of error when manufacturing multiple systems.
