The Apex QuadLock is a state-of-art window locking solution with the option to seamlessly integrate with Yale SensCheck™. The intelligent design features a one-piece zinc centre keep to enhance compression, and presents an aesthetic of supreme security for the consumer.

The lock features bi-directional locking cams and is available in 8mm, 9mm and 10.5mm cam variations. It has been tested to PAS24:2022 security requirements and is Secured by Design and IoT (Internet of Things) accredited. 

As an indication of the quality the Apex QuadLock offers, it has been extensively tested and has impressive credentials. It is corrosion resistant to EN1670:2007 Grade 5 and comes with a 10-year product guarantee, so installers can have confidence in its durability and long-term performance.

Total Hardware has just launched the latest product in its premium Apex range: the Apex Stainless Steel Shootbolt.

The shootbolt, which has the option to incorporate Yale SensCheck™, is manufactured to deliver superior security for PVC-U profiles, providing next-level protection for windows.

The intelligent design features a one-piece zinc centre keep, combined corner mushroom and shootbolt keep, significantly improving product performance. It also comes with a corner drive option which means it can be used as a wraparound mechanism for high or heavy duty top hung sashes, giving additional locking points on the side of the sashes and improving the compression of the window.

The shootbolt is suitable for use on Standard, French, Flush and French Flush casement windows. For enhanced security, the shootbolt is laminated. It’s manufactured from high-grade stainless steel, which enhances strength and extends product life, something that is reflected in the 10-year guarantee. Available in options to suit sash sizes from 250mm to 1620mm, the shootbolt meets PAS24:2022 security requirements and is Secured by Design and IoT (Internet of Things) accredited.

In the latest chapter of its impressive growth strategy, independent hardware supplier Total Hardware has just moved into new purpose-built premises in Leeds. Chris Pell, General Manager at Total Hardware, said: “This is a great start to our 21st year in business! Our new headquarters doubles our capacity, positioning us to meet future demand and continue our legacy of quality and service.” 

Chris continues, “The new purpose-built offices and warehousing distribution centre is ten times the size of the original Total Hardware premises, stocking the complete Total Hardware portfolio. The move is somewhat over-due as we have customers waiting to come on board with us, but we had to be certain the move was conducted without any disruption to existing customer supply, which I am delighted to say was the case. The new facility allows us the additional capacity for growth, increasing stock holding and allowing product range expansion as the company continues to develop its extensive range of in-house designed and tested products”. 

The new facility marks the latest chapter in an impressive history of growth for Total Hardware. The hardware specialist organisation started in 2004 growing to now become the largest independently owned hardware suppliers in the industry

Leading hardware supplier Total Hardware has just launched its premium-quality Apex door handle. Available in inline lever/lever, offset lever/pad and offset lever/lever, the new Apex door handle delivers an elegant yet robust design and displays the combination of superior quality and product excellence that Total Hardware’s customers have come to expect.

The Apex range of premium quality hardware demonstrates Total Hardware’s expertise in delivering modern and stylish hardware design, and the new door handle is no exception. The Apex door handle features an improved method of fixing the lever or pad to the backplate to ensure product durability and for a sleek, modern aesthetic, the backplate has been reduced to just 28mm. Additional material surrounds the cylinder hole to avoid cylinder slippage and the handle is fixed spring assisted, guaranteeing horizontal handle alignment after every operation. For convenience, the Apex door handle is supplied with screws and spindles suitable for door thicknesses of between 38-72mm.

For reassurance, the handle has been tested to BS.EN2007 Grade 5 affirming its resilience and durability in various environmental conditions. A 10-year mechanical and surface guarantee is available on powder-coated finishes, and a 5-year guarantee is available on plated finishes.

The Apex door handle is available in a choice of nine finishes: white, black, chrome, gold, satin silver, flint, tungsten, anthracite grey and antique black.
